Each winter morning at 4 am, the crew of The Leah crawl out of bed, and head to their boat. Almost silently, their boat pulls out of port past the jetties and out to the mud hole for a 14 hour day of hard winter fishing. Everyday, the ocean is calm enough , they head out because they know their season is ending and they'll be unable to work the worst winter months. Peter Ackerman/Asbury Park Press
